# More ways to say what matters

iMyVoice turns an iPhone, iPad or Mac into a board shaped around the person: searchable symbols, familiar photos and scenes, and the option to play a recorded voice.

## For the person communicating, and those beside them

A useful board starts with knowing the person. Families and professionals can build familiar, practical vocabulary together.

### Families

Add photos of familiar people and places, and record a family member’s voice for individual cells.

### Speech and language therapists

Keep a separate profile for each person and share a finished board with a family through AirDrop.

### Special education teachers

Start with a built-in board and adapt the number of cells, content and voice to classroom activities.

### Rehabilitation clinics

Build boards around words that matter now, and update them as needs change.

People who use iMyVoice include those living with autism, apraxia of speech, aphasia, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, stroke and traumatic brain injury.

## Tools to build a personal way to communicate

### Over 12,000 symbols

Every symbol is labelled and searchable in Hebrew, English, Russian and Romanian, with synonyms — so the word you think of is the word that finds the picture.

### Boards that fit the person

Choose a grid from a single large cell to a five-by-five page, or set your own rows and columns. Colour, border, text size and text position are set per cell.

### Visual scenes

Use a real photograph — a kitchen, a classroom, a family picture — and place hotspots on it. For many people, pointing at a scene they recognise is far easier than navigating a grid.

### Real voices, not only synthetic ones

Speak with the system voices at whatever rate suits the user, or record a human voice for any cell: a parent's, a sibling's, or the user's own from before.

### Pages that link together

Link a cell to another page, to a page in a different board, to the home page, or to a YouTube clip — so a vocabulary can grow without ever becoming one enormous grid.

### Your own photos and video

When the built-in symbol is not the right one, use the camera or the photo library instead. Video and YouTube links work in a cell too.

### A profile for each person

Separate profiles keep each user's boards apart — which matters in a clinic or a classroom — and built-in starter boards mean you are never facing a blank page.

### Share by AirDrop

Send a board, or a whole profile, to another device by AirDrop. What you build at a clinic arrives at home intact.

## One app, three devices

### iPhone

iOS 15.6 or later. The board goes wherever the person goes.

### iPad

iPadOS 15.6 or later. The larger screen fits more cells per page, which is why most classrooms and clinics work on one.

### Mac

macOS 13 Ventura or later. Useful for building and editing boards comfortably before handing them to a device.

## Start with one board. Grow at your pace.

Build your first board free with the full symbol library, photos and speech. Get to know the app before deciding whether to expand.
